The Monitor Audio Silver AMS 8G is a compact Dolby Atmos enabled speaker designed to add the height dimension to a Silver Series 8G home cinema system. It uses a 5.25" C-CAM RST III mid-bass driver and 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter to reproduce the overhead effects encoded into Dolby Atmos soundtracks.

The Silver AMS 8G is designed to sit directly atop the Silver 50 8G or Silver 300 8G, using the ceiling to reflect sound toward the listening position. This provides a practical way to create convincing height information without installing dedicated speakers in the ceiling.

Silver Series Driver Technology

The 5.25" C-CAM mid-bass driver uses Monitor Audio's RST III cone geometry, while the 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter incorporates an optimized waveguide. A refined crossover integrates the two drivers, and Through-Bolt Technology braces the driver and cabinet structure to help reduce unwanted resonance.

Compact, Sealed Design

The Silver AMS 8G uses a sealed enclosure and measures just over 7" across, allowing it to integrate neatly with compatible Silver Series 8G speakers. Magnetic grilles are supplied, and the cabinet is available in High Gloss Black, European Walnut, and Satin White to coordinate with the rest of the range.
