Compact 2-Way Design With Focal’s Slatefiber Midbass Driver and Exclusive TAM Tweeter

Omada N°1 is a compact 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf loudspeaker developed in the tradition of Focal’s bookshelf designs. It combines a 6.5" Slatefiber midbass driver with Focal’s Aluminium-Magnesium “M”-shaped inverted-dome TAM tweeter, bringing a tweeter technology previously unused in the company’s home loudspeakers to the Omada N°1.

Focal specifies Omada N°1 for rooms up to 322 sq. ft. (30 m²). Its front-ported cabinet makes the speaker practical for compact listening spaces, while an optional dedicated stand tilts the enclosure for Time Alignment.

Exclusive TAM Tweeter

The 1" Aluminium-Magnesium TAM tweeter uses Focal’s “M”-shaped inverted dome together with a urethane waveguide designed to improve horizontal directivity. According to Focal, the combination provides precise, soft treble reproduction and improved sound imaging.

Slatefiber Midbass Driver

The 6.5" midbass driver uses Focal’s Slatefiber cone, manufactured in France from recycled carbon fibers. The driver handles both the midrange and bass frequencies in the Omada N°1’s 2-way configuration, with a crossover frequency of 2,800 Hz.

Rigid, Front-Ported Cabinet

Omada N°1 uses an ultra-rigid MDF enclosure intended to control resonance, along with an aerodynamic front bass-reflex port designed for low distortion. A leather-effect front panel and removable magnetic grille complete the cabinet.
