Matching Omada voicing, dual Slatefiber midbass drivers, and Focal’s TAM tweeter for a coherent multichannel system

Omada Center is the dedicated center-channel loudspeaker in Focal’s Omada line, designed to complement the other Omada loudspeakers in both appearance and timbre. Its two-way bass-reflex configuration combines a pair of 6.5" Slatefiber midbass drivers with Focal’s 1" Aluminum/Magnesium inverted-dome TAM tweeter.

The Slatefiber drivers use recycled carbon-fiber cones manufactured in France by Focal. The TAM tweeter incorporates an M-shaped inverted dome and urethane waveguide, with the waveguide designed to improve horizontal directivity—an important consideration for a center speaker serving listeners seated across a room.

Designed for the Center of an Omada System

Focal emphasizes the complementary timbre of Omada Center with the rest of the Omada range, helping a multichannel system maintain consistency as sound moves across the front soundstage. Dual rear ports support the bass-reflex enclosure, while a magnetic grille and leather-effect front panel keep the visual presentation clean.

A tilted base is supplied with the loudspeaker. According to Focal, positioning the Center on this base improves the sound image and enhances the soundstage by directing the speaker appropriately toward the listening area.
