Separate MM and MC inputs, precise RIAA correction, low noise, and a compact footprint

The V90-LPS provides dedicated inputs for moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges in a compact, affordable design. Separate pairs of RCA inputs serve the two cartridge types, while a rear-panel switch selects the active input. A ground post is also provided for turntables that require an earth connection.

The V90-LPS connects to any standard line-level input on an integrated amplifier or preamplifier. Its low noise, low distortion, and generous overload margin allow it to handle a wide range of cartridge output levels without adding unnecessary complexity to the system.

Accurate RIAA Correction

Musical Fidelity designed the V90-LPS’s RIAA correction to extend well beyond the audible range. Properly correcting this ultrasonic information helps prevent ringing and overshoot within the audible band. RIAA response is rated within ±0.25 dB, while total harmonic distortion is just 0.01% for both MM and MC inputs.
